During the owner's home renovations, their interior designer enlisted our expertise to transform an existing bar area into a climate-controlled wine room. The owner envisioned a modern wine cellar, opting for a blend of powder-coated steel racking with timber veneer framing and joinery. This combination of materials, textures, and contrasting colours created a striking and contemporary design. The contrast between the light timber joinery and the dark timber flooring added depth and interest. The racking configuration featured LED-lit double display rows, diamond bins, and box storage, with additional ambient lighting highlighting the tops of the racks. The final design seamlessly integrated functional storage with an eye-catching focal point for the home. Full-height windows and doors were incorporated to highlight the cellar, allowing for complete viewing and appreciation. This cellar housed approximately 700 bottles of wine.
