1-2 Weeks prior to your move, Holloway will deliver our purpose built Office Moving Crates, these come in either a 68L or 34L size.
They are made from recycled material which not only makes them environmentally friendly but also very heavy duty. They are easily moved around using a skate dolly and can hold up to 25kg in each crate.
Items such as Personal Affects, Document Folders, I.T. Equipment, Desk Phones, Stationary and pretty much anything that fits in the crate can be moved in them.
Once you have engaged with Holloway to perform your office move, we will begin to curate a move plan to make sure everything moves smoothly.
We will asses things like access to each building, loading dock size, lift bookings and specific equipment required, as well as if a SWMS is required.
Once a move date has been confirmed, we will collate all this information and pass the move plan over to the client for any minor changes that may need to be made, once approved, we are ready to move.
Holloway are also able to help with creating a CAD floor plan for placement of your workstations and furniture in your new office.
As a rule of thumb, we allocate 2 crates per desk. One crate to contain all the personal affects and contents of the pedestal and one crate to contain all I.T. Peripherals including Power Cables, HDMI Cable, Ethernet Cable, Mouse and Keyboard etc.
Our Project Manager will then suggest a number of crates to accommodate the remainder of the contents in your office. When labeling the crate and other items, you must write the location of where it is to go at your new office, not it current location.
Items outside of the crate that should be labeled as well are Monitors, Workstations, Printers and other large furniture. We then refer to the floor plan to place all items at their correct location at your new office.
